Funny penguin sonnet
There once was a penguin, so amusing and sly
He'd waddle and slide, with a twinkle in his eye
He loved to play tricks, and make all his friends laugh
He'd hop and he'd wiggle, and do a little dance
He'd slide on his belly, across the icy floes
He'd chase after fish, and catch them with his beak
He'd flop on his back, and kick his feet in the air
He was a clown, a jester, with not a care
But when the sun went down, and the wind picked up
He'd huddle close with his kin, and keep each other warm
He was a loyal friend, and a playful chap
He was the life of the party, and a joy to have
So here's to the funny penguin, so full of cheer
He brings a smile to our faces, year after year
